  • Immunization Registry Development in California
LINK is part of a state and national effort to improve the tracking and delivery of immunizations to improve the health of all children, families and communities.

Immunization Registry Development Across the Nation
All 50 states currently operate or are in the process of developing an immunization registry. For more information on immunization registries in other states, please visit CDC Immunization Program Website.

Healthy People 2010, which has established the nation's health objectives for this decade, has set a goal specifically for immunization registries: To enroll 95% of children from birth through age five in an immunization registry by the year 2010. LINK is working to meet this goal to ensure that all children in our community get the right number of shots at the right time. This will lead to improved immunization coverage and a reduction in the occurrence of vaccine-preventable diseases.
